Getting started

If this is your first time hearing about Virtual Dawn Academy, please see our about-section and license-section

To gain access to our SDK start by joining Virtual Dawn Academy discord community from the link and send a message to the check-in channel and/or one of the admins @van_mardigain or @Croatoan: VD ACADEMY DISCORD

Our SDK requires you to purchase/own few paid 3rd party assets. Contact @Croatoan or @van_mardigain in discord to show that you own at least the minimum required assets for the SDK.
If you want to discuss your project and recommended assets(no need to purchase all of them!), contact us to set up a time for a meeting.

After getting access to VD SDK head to the documentation

Hardware and software recommendations:

• Windows 10/11
• SSD/NVME with 20gb+ free
• Microphone for discord communication
• VR capable GPU(minimum gtx 1050 or equivalent)
• Supported VR-device(Meta Quest, Pico Neo, Valve Index, HTC Vive; on some cases we may be able to loan one for you.)

Supported Unity Versions:

• Unity 2022.3.4f1 (being tested)
• Unity 2021.3.xx (should work fine)
• Unity 2021.3.24f1 (current main version)
• Unity 2020.3.xx (works but not recommended)
• Unity 2019.4.xx (works with old deprecated SDK, but not recommended)#EED20A
